The VALORANT Champions Tour 2024 is set to begin worldwide in the upcoming days, starting with kickoff tournaments across four regions: Americas, EMEA (Europe), Pacific (Asia), and China. The Americas Kickoff will gather 11 top teams from the region to fight for qualification spots in the forthcoming Masters event and valuable points towards securing a spot in Champions 2024.
Scheduled to be held at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles, California, the offline tournament will offer the top two teams a direct path to qualify for the VCT Masters Madrid 2024. The Masters event is slated for March later this year.
The VCT Americas 2024 season begins this weekend on Feb. 16, initiating the VCT Americas Kickoff tournament. The 11 teams have been sorted into three groups: two groups featuring four teams each and one group comprising three teams. Through a double-elimination structure, teams within each group will compete in best-of-three matches to determine their playoff fate.

Leviatan, NRG, and Sentinels are the outright favourites. Leviatan showed promise early on in the Americas League last year, but they could not sustain the momentum. After finishing the Playoffs without a single win by their name, they made some high-profile additions to their team. As a result, they head into the competition as the ultimate favourites.
Over the past few years, the Sentinels have struggled to make a significant impact in both regional and international tournaments. Nevertheless, their recent AfreecaTV Valorant League campaign, where they emerged victorious against formidable opponents such as Paper Rex, offers optimism as they prepare for the Americas League.
Aside from their performance in Champions 2023, NRG had a successful year last season, benefiting from the inclusion of three former OpTic core members. Despite the absence of renowned IGL Pujan “FNS” Mehta in this season’s lineup, the team has made significant new additions, raising hopes for NRG to end their S-tier trophy drought at the VCT Americas 2024.
We, however, believe backing LOUD to go all the way is the best betting strategy. They come in at 7.50, so there’s potential for a substantial return, and they have the squad quality to clinch the title. LOUD might have lost aspas, but this new roster still promises to take flight. Despite last year’s Tokyo stumbles, they retain top talent like Less, who remains one of the most respected names in the scene.
