The Toronto Raptors are the hottest team in basketball. Tonight, the Raptors will aim for their 15th straight victory when they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Experts couldn’t have predicted the current run of the Raptors. Having won their past 14 games, Toronto has set a franchise record for most consecutive wins. They can add to that total tonight.
Current Odds Date & Time: February 10th, 1:00 P.M. (EST)
Online bookmaker BetOnline has the Raptors at -465 on the Money Line.
The Timberwolves are one of the worst teams in the NBA. Sitting with a record of 16-35, they are only ahead of the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference.
Minnesota isn’t taking losing as an answer, however. The team made a huge splash during the trade deadline, acquiring D’Angelo Russell. As the Timberwolves are expected to have a high draft pick next season, this is an attempt by the T’Wolves management to speed up the rebuild process.
Russell is questionable for tonight’s contest. Expect the Timberwolves to wait for an additional game to start Russell who is dealing with a quad injury.
The Raptors are also dealing with injuries. Kyle Lowry is questionable tonight as he deals with a neck injury. Marc Gasol is also suffering from wear and tear. Gasol is out for tonight’s game thanks to a hamstring injury.
While the T’Wolves are heavily projected to lose this contest, they only need to look back to their last contest for inspiration. The Timberwolves decimated the LA Clippers in their last game. Can Minnesota end Toronto’s streak tonight?
Toronto is one of the best defensive teams in the NBA, so the offense won’t come easy for Minnesota. Toronto is playing historic basketball at the moment and we’ve been blessed enough to be apart of the ride.
