Today’s sim will feature some of the best defensive players in Madden 20. Aaron Donald of the Rams rolls into this game with a 99 overall. Adding the Rams’ stellar defense is Jalen Ramsey, who is 94 overall.

Casey Heyward Jr. is another Chargers’ defender to watch out for. The Cornerback out of Vanderbilt is also 91 overall. I am excited to watch these two defensive squads square off.
Updated rosters have affected player overalls which we see here today. Rams’ QB Jared Goff comes in with a 77 overall rating. With how strong the Chargers’ defense is, Goff may have a tough time on the gridiron.
Chargers’ QB Phillip Rivers is currently rated 84 overall. His 88 awareness may be enough to get him over the hump, although opponent Goff has higher Accuracy, Speed and Agility.
Austin Ekeler is a player to watch today. The Chargers’ RB is rated 83 overall. Depending on how things unfold, will he get fewer touches than Melvin Gordon, who is rated one point higher?
The offense will go through Goff, with the ball being run by Todd Gurley. Gurley is an absolute beast when it comes to madden with his 91 speed, 95 agility, and 75 strength.
Both teams seem evenly matched. I think this game falls onto the offense as I expect both defensive groups to play up to par.
