Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus continue the push for the 2021 Scudetto on Saturday in a home game against AS Roma. Ronaldo hasn’t scored in three league games, which marks his worst dry spell since 2019, but the team has kept on winning and AC Milan’s lead at the top of the Serie A is getting trimmed down regularly.
The Portuguese superstar has had only one four-game drought in the Serie A and bookmaker 10Bet has the odds at 1.83 for him to start firing again on Saturday.

Juve have won two on the bounce in the league without Ronaldo scoring and they are on a five-game winning streak overall in all competitions. Ronaldo did find his way on the scoresheet in Tuesday’s Italian Cup semi-final first leg netting both goals in a 2-1 win over Inter.
The Old Lady has gone from strength to strength in 2021 failing to win only once in 10 outings across all competitions and scoring 25 goals in the process. First-year manager Andrea Pirlo has finally found a perfect balance for his team and the Bianconeri looks like the team to stop during the final stretch of the season.
Roma did a good job in stopping Juve in the first meeting of the season, which ended 2-2 at the Stadio Olimpico. Furthermore, they have suffered only one loss in the last four head to head meetings in the league, but the Giallorossi have been in inconsistent form lately and battling injuries.
Pedro Rodriguez and Chris Smalling have both played a big part in the team’s success, but they won’t be able to take the field on Saturday and Roma are also without long-term absentee Nicolo Zaniolo, who hasn’t played since August 2020. Meanwhile, Pirlo’s only worry is the status of Paulo Dybala, who has missed the past few games with a knee problem.
Roma, who are one point ahead of Juventus and six points adrift from Milan, remain in the title race, but they keep on leaking goals and it will be tough to fight for the top spot if things don’t improve at the back. Paulo Fonseca’s team has already conceded 33 goals in 20 games, which marks the eighth-worst defensive record in the league. To add insult to injury, they have managed only one clean sheet on the road all season.
