Borussia Dortmund will be out for revenge when they host Freiburg on Friday. Marco Rose’s men lost the reserve fixture at the start of the season 2-1.
Erling Haaland has been in immense form all season and bookmaker 10Bet has the odds at 2.10 for the Dortmund star to score either the first or the last goal of the game. The odds are at 3.95 for him to bag his sixth league brace of the season and at 13.00 for him to score a hat trick.

Freiburg are one of the few sides that have managed to neutralize Haaland this season. Dortmund got their lone goal in the reserve fixture through an own goal while Vincenzo Grifo and Roland Sallai were the scorers for Freiburg.
The win over Dortmund turned out to be a sign of things to come as Christian Streich’s team has been one of the biggest surprise packages of top European leagues this season. Freiburg sit fourth in the league table, which is just seven points off Dortmund.
The opening goal against Dortmund was also just the start for Grifo. The 28-year-old winger has registered 10 goal involvements through 18 games and his creativity has made Freiburg a very dangerous team.
You could say that Grifo, who also had a very productive campaign last term, is the standout player for Freiburg, but he’s one of four different players with at least four Bundesliga goals for the season, which shows that Streich has multiple goal threats at his disposal.
The 56-year-old German, who’s celebrated 10 years in charge of Freiburg last month, has also turned the team into a very solid defensive unit. Only table-topping Bayern Munich can match Freiburg’s defensive numbers with both having conceded only 18 goals.
Freiburg’s outstanding defense could result in another frustrating game for Haaland although he’s yet to finish goalless in a home match this season.
BVB have been very stingy hosts this season giving up points only to Bayern. Dating back to last season, they have won 12 of their last 13 home games and the great run of results should give them the confidence of being able to break down Freiburg in the end.
It’s been over 20 years since the last time Freiburg managed to win at Westfalenstadion with Dortmund having put together a 13-game unbeaten streak (12 of them outright wins) at home in the matchup. Will their luck change this time around?
