AS Roma and Lazio are set for another Rome derby and both will have high hopes for the match as they head into the encounter in good form.

Lazio have scored 24 league goals so far, which is the third-best record in Serie A and Maurizo Sarri has also seen his side concede just eight times. He’s found a great balance in the team, although Lazio were shocked a week ago at home by Salernitana in giving up a lead and losing 3-1.
Sarri will definitely want to see a big reaction from his troops, especially after Lazio also suffered a 1-0 loss to Feyenoord on Thursday and dropped out of the Europa League on goal difference. Lazio have yet to lose three games on the bounce since Sarri’s arrival ahead of last season.
This will be the 179th official Derby della Capitale and Lazio will be looking for their 49th win. Roma sit on 67 wins and 63 of the clashes have ended in draws. With the match-up having gone four games without a draw, you could say that we are due for one, but both sides have plenty of quality to grab a winning goal and splitting the points shouldn’t satisfy either side.
