LIV Golf Jeddah Predictions
When the rubber hits the road, or more likely the fairway, who will claim the lion’s share of the $20 million purse? Read on for our expert LIV Golf Jeddah predictions.
Jon Rahm to Win @ 6.50
Jon Rahm shifting from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf has been one of the biggest storylines of the off-season, but the reality has been far less dramatic. Across two starts, the former world No. 1 has finished third and eighth, failing to grab the bull by the horns and dominate the league.
However, we say this will be the moment that he does exactly that. Rahm is too great a player to stay quiet for long and with the heightened anticipation of playing in Jeddah, we can expect him to perform. Rahm’s game suits desert golf, so we’re predicting he’ll win his first title at 6.50.
Brooks Koepka Top Five @ 3.10
Last October, Koepka defied the odds and won back-to-back titles in Jeddah. The American has an insane ability to perform in Saudi Arabia, regardless of what the bookies say about his chances.
Though his performances so far this season haven’t exactly lit the world on fire–a T5 in Mayakoba and T12 in Las Vegas for an overall standing of ninth–the past matters for little when it comes to Koepka and Jeddah. While we’re hesitant to back the 33-year-old to go all the way, simply because of Rahm’s pedigree, we do think he’ll go deep. Expect Koepka to make at least the top five for a healthy return of 3.10.
