The worlds best tennis players will descend upon Melbourne, Australia for the 2019 edition of the Australian Open. Roger Federer has won the Open in two straight years.
Federer is a decorated athlete. His recent victories came against the likes of Marin Cilic (2018) and Rafael Nadal (2017). Overall, Federer has six Australian Open victories under his belt.

Novak Djokovic will be looking to add another Australian Open to his trophy case. Djokovic has dominated the Open during the mid-2000s. Since 2008, he has picked up six titles. He has never lost in the finals of the Australian Open.
Rafael Nadal most recently won the Open in 2009. Despite having many titles and accomplishments, Nadal has not placed well at the Australian Open. He has finished second in the tournament three times.

Many top players will be in attendance to capture the Australian Open, but it’s clear that history is on the side of Federer, Djokovic, and Nadal.
