We’re less than 24-hours until Thanksgiving football takes place. On a day where we celebrate everything we are thankful for, the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears will battle it out to secure a much-needed victory.
The season is heating up but the end of the road is near. With few games remaining on the schedule, every game and win matters. With that being said, the Lions and Bears are fighting for pride at this moment.
※ Current Odds Date & Time: November 27th, 3:00 p.m. (EST)
Online bookmaker SportsBetting has the Bears at -4 on the spread for this contest.
In the NFC North, the Bears are 3-games back of the Green Bay Packers. As for the Lions, they are sitting in the basement once again of the division. It would take a mighty push (and a whole lot of luck) to reach the playoffs for Detroit at this point.
Adding salt to the wound, the Lions are currently on a four-game losing skid. Detroit last earned a win on October 27th against the New York Giants. Since then, they have struggled to perform and even took a loss against the Washington Redskins.
The Bears are also a huge disappointment this season. Last year, the Bears were eliminated from the postseason heartbreakingly. Fast forward a season later and the Bears are on the verge of missing playoff football yet again.
Chicago’s defense has been at its best this season, but the inability to stop charges late from the opposition and score touchdowns have been the nail in the coffin. Chicago and Detroit are both playing for pride this Thanksgiving, looking to send their fans home happy.
As the season comes to an end, it’s been disappointing for both teams.
