Former New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski shocked the world with recent announcements. After coming out of retirement, Gronkowski was then promptly traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to re-connect with buddy and teammate Tom Brady.
While it may not be the flashiest award handed out by the NFL, people like to talk about the Comeback Player of the Year. This award is usually handed out to a player who has overcome adversity or injury and performed at a high level. Gronk is the perfect example of someone who has literally come back to the NFL, but can he win the award?

He is listed at +500 to win the award. Watt’s defensive prowess, coupled with a Texans’ playoff run might be enough to capture the award.
Matthew Stafford is listed at +750, while AJ Green is listed at +800. Antonio Brown has been a person to study in recent months. If he returns to the NFL, he is listed at +1400 to win the award.
