There is one game left in the CFL season. After a full schedule that started back in June, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Winnipeg Blue Bombers have played their way into the finale of the 2019 season.
The Blue Bombers have 10 Grey-Cups to their name, which is the third most in CFL history. However, their last win game in 1990. To say Blue Bombers’ fans have been waiting a long time for this opportunity once again is an understatement. As for the Tiger-Cats, they last won the Grey Cup in 1999. Both the Tiger-Cats and Blue Bombers are the only CFL teams without a Grey Cup win in the 2000s.

Online bookmaker 5Dimes has the Ti-Cats at -3½ on the spread for the Grey Cup.
Winnipeg and Hamilton squared off against each other in Week 7, with the Tiger-Cats walking out victorious. Fast forward to Week 16, the Tiger-Cats would claim another win over Winnipeg, this time dropping them 33-13. It’s clear that the Tiger-Cats have the Blue Bombers’ number, but will that change tomorrow night?
Hamilton will need to watch the legs (and arm) of Chris Streveler tomorrow. He tallied 12 rushing touchdowns this season in only 15 games played. He is a dangerous scorer and one that can help the Blue Bombers get over the hump, both with his passing and running. However, he is listed third on the Bombers’ depth chart but is expected to see action.
Brandon Banks is the number one receiver in the league and will need to be heavily defended if Winnipeg wants to win the Grey Cup. Banks hauled in 13 touchdowns this season and 1550 yards, which led the league in both categories.
Both teams and their fans are longing for a Grey Cup victory. Hamilton and Winnipeg have reached the dance before but weren’t able to go home with a ring. That will change for one franchise tomorrow night.
