The Special One will have a special day on Sunday as Jose Mourinho reaches 1000 games in management. His Roma side takes on Sassuolo on home turf looking to continue a perfect start to the season.
The Giallorossi have won the first two Serie A fixtures with a combined score of 7-1 and bookmaker 10Bet has the odds at 1.87 for them to win by multiple goals again.

Mourinho, who started his managerial career at Benfica in 2000, boasts 637 wins, 204 draws and 158 losses through 999 career games. Four of the wins have come in charge of Roma and success on Sunday would mark the first time Mourinho has started life at a club with five consecutive victories.
Many associate Mourinho with a negative approach to football, but his Roma side has been fun to watch so far and the fans can expect the goals to keep on flowing against Sassuolo.
Roma already has four different players with at least three goal involvements and Jordan Veretout in particular is off to a very special start to the campaign. The French midfielder has recorded three goals and one assist through two rounds of action. He had a nice 10-goal year in 2020-21 and seems to be ready to take another step forward.
Sassuolo are off to a decent start to the season as well. The Neroverdi lost their manager Roberto De Zerbi to Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer, but the team has coped well with the change notching four points from two matches.
The side is now lead by Alessio Dionisi who took Empoli to the Serie B crown last season. It’s the first Serie A job for him and keeping Sassuolo in the top-10 would be a big achievement by the 41-year-old.
Dionisi has big boots to fill after De Zerbi worked wonders with the team registering consecutive eighth-place finishes in the league before leaving for Ukraine.
Sassuolo is a small club, but three of the players were part of Italy’s squad during the recent international break and multiple players also celebrated the EURO 2020 triumph in July. It’s a sign of quality and Sassuolo looks very well capable of ruining Mourinho’s special day.
Taking points off Roma wouldn’t be anything new for Sassuolo either after the two sides split the points on both occasions last season. In fact, Roma have won only one of the last five head-to-head meetings.
