Current Odds Date & Time: August 8th, 1:00 P.M. (EST)

With the best odds being on Rory McIlroy at 11.00, we can expect another tight battle between him and Jon Rahm who is priced at 21.00. Who will come out on top between these two remains to be seen. What’s certain though is that we’re in for a treat with some of the best golfers on the planet set to take part in this tournament.

This tournament on the PGA Tour has been held in Memphis every year since its inception in 1958 all the way up to 1989 when it was permanently moved to TPC Southwind, Tennessee. Ever since, FedEx has remained a loyal partner to the championship and has helped raise over $38 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A feat worthy of praise.

With the reigning champion Tony Finau set to defend his title, the competition will not be easy with opponents such as Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy to name a few in the mix. Even though the odds are not in his favor, by taking advantage of his notorious power swing, expect Finau to give the oddsmakers a run for their money as he sets his eyes on defending his title.

As for the main challengers, Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas and Rory McIlroy all lead the pack to topple Finau from his throne and seize the title. In Jon Rahm’s case, he is in the best form of his life and it shows with his current ranking higher than his rivals. Will his unusual compact back swing propel him to the top of the leaderboard this week? Only time will tell but he is the current No. 1 for a reason.

As the 2022 season winds down, the action on the greens heats up with so much on the line for all participants. Will a familiar face walk away with the trophy or will a newcomer make a name for himself to carry over to next year’s tour?
