Pena vs. Nunes & Moreno vs. France: Who Will Take Home the Crown and be the King and Queen of the Octagon at UFC 277?

ウィリアムヒルLovers of the UFC and MMA in general are in for a show this Saturday evening on the 30th of July. We have, not one, but two title fights in the bantamweight and flyweight divisions. It’s Julianna Pena vs. Amanda Nunes in the women’s bantamweight division and Brandon Moreno vs. Kai Kara-France in the men’s flyweight division. Who will take home the crown in this Saturday night spectacle? Bookmaker William Hill has the latest odds!

※ Current Odds Date & Time: July 25th, 11:00 A.M. (EST)

The first of the two fights is the flyweight interim title bout between Brandon Moreno of Mexico vs. Kai Kara-France of New Zealand. The moneyline odds for this fight are heavily in favour of Moreno at 1.50 with the Mexican having an impressive record of 19-6-2. His opponent, Kai Kara-France of New Zealand, has an impressive record as well coming in at 24-9-0 proving yet again he is one of the best fighters in the business. This is a fight we’ll be watching from the edge of our seats.

Being a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Moreno is the type of fighter to go in for a win by submission. He is more than capable of taking a few hits and playing the long game before finishing off his opponents in ground combat.

His opponent, Kai Kara-France, prefers a more head-on approach. With an impressive 11 wins by TKO/KO, France is indeed one of the deadliest fighters in the business. His preferred fighting style is a mix of MMA and kickboxing aiming to deliver that finishing blow to his opponents as soon as possible.

In the second fight of the evening, we will be witnessing a marquee match-up between the current women’s bantamweight champion, Julianna “The Venezuelan Vixen” Pena facing the challenger, Amanda “the Lioness” Nunes.

Fighting for the USA, Julianna Pena currently holds a record of 12-4-0 and specializes in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and ground combat. Her opponent, Amanda Nunes, holds an impressive score of 21-5-0 with her focus being in Brazilian jiu-jitsu as well as judo.

It will be interesting to see how Pena can cope with Nunes’ judo technique. Will she be able to use her experience to defend the title against an opponent as ferocious as Amanda Nunes? Only time will tell…

※ Current Odds Date & Time: July 25th, 11:00 A.M. (EST)

Bookmaker William Hill has the moneyline odds in favor of Nunes for this fight at 1.33 as opposed to the champion Pena who is at 3.30. A significant difference indeed with the incoming champion be priced as a moderate underdog for this title bout.

Are the oddsmakers on the money with the lines for this headlining event? We’ll know come Saturday night!
