With $18 million going to first place, players jockey to stay in the top 50 rankings to qualify for the second of three legs that make up the playoff system to crown this year’s champion. It will be the absolute cream of the crop golfers teeing it up at the TPC Southwind in Tennessee, with names such as Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm battling it out.
We use bookmaker William Hill to break down the odds and determine who has the best chances to win this weekend.

These top five betting favourites are there because of consistent, demonstrated excellence over time. However, we have Wyndham Clark and Brian Harman as examples of long-shot Major winners in this year alone. Speaking of Harman, he played very well last year at St. Jude, tying for third and only improving in his short game and confidence since. He sits at odds of 41.00 currently.
Paying out at 36.00, J.T. Poston also looks to be in great recent form at just the right time. His last five finishes are T7, T2, T41, T6, and T6. The T41 was the Open and that is a very different course in a different country. Keegan Bradley and Cam Davis at 51.00 have been strong of late as well.
For those looking for the best bets on the FedEx St. Jude Championship this week, there are a few. For the longer odds, Brian Harman is coming in hot and pays well at 41.00 for a recent Major winner. Tommy Fleetwood returning 34.00 is stacking up top 10 finishes in four of his last five chances. For those liking less risk, take Jon Rahm to finish top five, paying at 2.75. All of these golfers are trending very well, making them excellent wagers.
