LIV Golf will host its second consecutive event in Europe this week as the LIV Golf Invitational London 2023 kicks off over the weekend. Ahead of The Open Championship next week, players on the PGA Tour’s rival circuit will be eager to gain some strong momentum heading into the combined major.
Last week’s tournament in Andalucia saw an American one, two, three, and there’s every chance we’ll see a similar outcome in London as well. Talor Gooch has become the first man to win three events in LIV Golf, leapfrogging Dustin Johnson to become the undisputed king of the tour. Bryson De Chambeau and Brooks Koepka also looked in devastating touch in Spain and will be bearing down hot on this London course. Who will come out on top and head into the fourth major of the year in winning form?
We break down all the best bets to make on golf this week with the latest odds from bookmaker William Hill.

It’s another tight top five in the betting odds at William Hill heading into a LIV Golf event with all five favourites sitting between 9.00 and 13.00. Brooks Koepka holds the lead in the betting markets at 9.00 to win with Cameron Smith just behind him on 10.00. Following these two, Dustin Johnson pays 11.00 for a win in London followed by fellow Americans Bryson DeChambeau and Talor Gooch on 12.00 and 13.00 respectively.
The same order of betting favourites is held for a top five finish as well with Koepka sitting on 2.62, through to Talor Gooch at 3.25 as fifth favourite.

The week before a major it’s always fascinating to see who steps up to the plate. While Talor Gooch has been doing all the winning in LIV Golf recently, we say it will be one of Brooks Koepka or Cameron Smith who takes the title this week, providing a solid platform for another deep run at The Open Championship next week.
Koepka shot -9 in Andalucia last week, finishing third behind Bryson DeChambeau and Talor Gooch. This was his fourth top five finish of the season, including his one LIV Golf title in Orlando three months ago. Pair this with his win at the PGA Championship in May this year and the American is well placed to kick on and claim a second LIV trophy in London this weekend.
Cameron Smith, on the other hand, didn’t have his best week in Spain. The Australian stuttered to a T12 finish, his third worst result of the season in LIV Golf. However, there’s something about the British soil for Smith, and we say that this week he’ll regain some of his form from this time last year when he went all the way to win The Open Championship. It might not be quite enough to get past Koepka, but back Smith for a top five placement that will set him up nicely heading into next weekend.
