The 2022-23 La Liga season will have a fascinating finish at the bottom of the table as six teams are separated by just two points with one of them getting relegated from the league. Real Valladolid is hoping to save their neck against one of their direct competitors, Getafe.
Bookmaker William Hill has the odds at 1.75 for Valladolid to score the last goal of the game. The odds are at 2.30 for Getafe to score the last goal and at 8.50 for a game without any goals.

Valladolid currently occupies the uncomfortable 18th position but a home win against Getafe could change everything. Meanwhile, Getafe might be safe even with a loss Sunday but it will be risky for them to rely on other results. The situation sets us up nicely for a big battle at Jose Zorrilla Stadium.
Paulo Pezzolano’s men picked up a huge result in their last home outing, beating Barcelona 3-1, and they should fancy their chances against a side that has won only three road outings all year.
Valladolid’s battle for survival has been led by Cyle Larin and the team now needs to get just one more big performance out of him. The Canadian forward is the team’s top scorer with eight goals despite having joined mid-season and he’s recorded 11 goal involvements in total in just 18 games.
Meanwhile, Getafe will be without their leading scorer after Enes Ünal suffered a knee injury last week that will keep him out of action until 2024. It’s a horrible blow for Getafe, but the team has managed to put together a decent run of results, picking up 10 points from the last five rounds, and they should still have some good momentum.
Ünal has scored 14 of Getafe’s 34 league goals this season, adding three assists. He’s been the main man up front, but Borja Mayoral has also made a decent contribution with eight goals and his presence gives Getafe another serious goal threat.
Mayoral & Co. will be hoping to end a long losing run in the match-up against Valladolid. They lost the reserve fixture this season 3-2 at home, taking a third consecutive defeat in the head-to-head battle. Overall, Valladolid is four games unbeaten in the clash and has lost just one of the last 10 La Liga games between the two teams.
