WTA Indian Wells Predictions & Odds: Swiatek Rises Again

Four women have separated themselves from the rest of the WTA Tour over the last 12 months. Now, Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina and Coco Gauff come head-to-head at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells in what will be a clash of the titans. Who will draw first blood? Read on for all our WTA Indian Wells predictions, based on the latest betting odds from bookmaker William Hill.

WTA Indian Wells Predictions

A total of 96 women will contest the main draw of the WTA 1000 event in Indian Wells over the next fortnight, making it only marginally less significant than a Grand Slam. Here’s who we say can go all the way.

Iga Swiatek Will Win

It’s a four-horse race in Indian Wells, and we say that Swiatek is the best of those horses to bet on. The young Pole has had the better of the post-Australian Open action over in the Middle East. With a win in Doha and a semi-final in Dubai, Swiatek will bring plenty of confidence to Indian Wells. She’s won here before as well, and with only Rybakina to navigate in her half of the draw, should continue her momentum in 2024.

Coco Gauff Will Make the Final

Down in the other half of the draw, we say American Coco Gauff will make yet another deep run at a WTA 1000 and go all the way to the final. She has Aryna Sabalenka to get past in order to do so, who she lost to at the Australian Open. However, Gauff’s form over the past six months has been strong, notwithstanding a first-round exit in Doha last month. Our WTA Indian Wells prediction is that she will play well at home and come up against Swiatek in the final match of the tournament.

WTA Indian Wells Odds

ウィリアムヒルLooking at the WTA Indian Wells odds from bookmaker William Hill, it’s a four-way battle at the top of the charts. Swiatek leads with odds of 3.50 to win, followed by Australian Open champion Sabalenka at 4.33. Just behind her are Rybakina and Gauff on 6.50 and 7.00 respectively, before the odds drop significantly. Qinwen Zheng and Jessica Pegula are the next best options at 26.00 to win.

The next fortnight will determine who is the top dog on the WTA Tour as we approach the quarter-way mark of the season. Can Swiatek gain revenge for her Australian Open campaign or will Rybakina defend her title? We say it will be the Pole who prevails, defeating a resurgent Gauff in the final.
