In these times, nothing is guaranteed. While the NBA is hoping to move forward with its regular season at the end of the month, there are many obstacles the league needs to overcome to do so.
Thankfully for the league (and basketball fans), the NBA seems to be moving forward with only minor hiccups. July 30th is the intended restart date for the basketball season.

Online bookmaker BetOnline has the NBA restarting on time (Yes) at -500.
The league has planned to have teams play inter-squad scrimmages later this week and COVID-19 positive tests have been relatively low. For now, the NBA seems to be in good shape as they hope to restart the season.
Of course, there is the possibility that the season does not get underway on the expected date. While the betting odds are in favor of the season restarting on time, anything can happen between now and July 30th.
Right now, the league is holding their breath as they hope the season can restart relatively smoothly. The current NBA bubble seems to be generating positive attention and NBA players seem to like their current set up. Many of these players came right out college, so it’s a similar environment to when they were playing ball in the NCAA.
Unless something major happens, we will see professional basketball return in the next 10 days. Of course, a minor incident could push back the NBA’s plans for weeks or even months.
What do you think? Right now, the NBA seems to be full-steam ahead and ready to go, but anything can happen between now and July 30th.
