Discussions between the MLB and MLBPA went back and forth for months. While the future of baseball in 2020 looked bleak, the two parties agreed to terms yesterday, meaning we will see baseball this season!
This season will look different than years past, other than the reduced schedule. Baserunners will be added in extra innings and rosters will be expanded to 60 players. 2020 has not been a normal year and the upcoming baseball season will reflect that.
Critics will say that the 2020 World Series champion deserves an asterisk next to their name, but you could argue this season is tougher than years prior. Either way, we will hopefully see a World Series champion crowned in 2020.

The two clubs have faced each other numerous times in the World Series, most recently in 1981.The Houston Astros are next in line to win the World Series. Despite your feelings towards the Astros and their cheating scandal, they are still a talented ball club. However, this season may not be as smooth for the ‘Stros as teams will be gunning for them throughout the 60 games.
Atlanta came up short last season in the NLDS. It will be interesting to see how they perform with a shorter-schedule. The Braves have one of the best young groups in the league which makes them an appealing choice as well.
There are a number of deserving clubs, but only one team will be crowned World Series champion at seasons’ end.
