Arsenal have a spectacular record in the derby at home going 10 games without a loss since 2010. They have scored at least once in 22 consecutive home Premier League matches against their neighbors and have taken just one home loss in the last 28 league meetings.

Last season, the Gunners fell behind early through a fabulous Erik Lamela rabona goal, but the team showed great fighting spirit and ended getting a 2-1 win.

Martin Odegaard scored his first Premier League goal in the last derby and he’s expected to be the beating heart of Arsenal again. The Norwegian sensation scored a superb free-kick last weekend against Burnley, which should give him a nice boost of confidence.

The 22-year-old hasn’t yet racked up a lot of stats in an Arsenal shirt, but he’s a very talented playmaker and his ability to pick a pass could turn out to be key against a Tottenham side that’s mostly been hard to break down this season.

Spurs have suffered back-to-back 3-0 defeats in the league, but they kicked off the campaign with three consecutive 1-0 wins, which showcased their defensive potential.

Tottenham’s offense hasn’t been flowing so far, but Nuno has some of his injured players back and matchups with Arsenal have always suited him well. Whilst at Wolves, he lost only once in six league meetings with Arsenal winning half of the games.

Spurs’ lack of goals seems to be directly related to the form of Harry Kane whose performances have been disappointing so far. However, he always shows up in the derby and this could be the fixture that kick starts his season.

The England captain is the all-time top scorer in the North London derby with 11 goals in 14 outings. He fired blanks in the most recent clash with Arsenal but hasn’t yet gone goalless in back-to-back derbies.

Kane was heavily criticized for his effort in last Sunday’s defeat to Chelsea and he should be out to prove a point against Arsenal. Getting three points would be sweet in multiple ways as Kane has never taken a league win over the Gunners away from home.
