Sevilla continues its Champions League campaign with a home match against Dortmund on Wednesday looking to record a 10th straight victory across all competitions. The current run of nine wins in a row marks the second-best winning streak in club history for the Andalusians who managed more consecutive victories only in 2006 with 12.
Julen Lopetegui’s men have recorded seven consecutive clean sheets as well and bookmaker 10Bet has the odds at 4.15 for them to pick up another victory without conceding a single goal.

Keeping Dortmund at bay looks like a very tough task with Erling Haaland alone boasting 23 goals in 23 games for the season, but Sevilla did nullify Barcelona just a week ago in the Spanish Cup semi-final first leg. Overall, the team has produced 18 clean sheets in 35 games across all competitions, which is only one shy of a club record posted in 2008/09.
It’s been a real team effort to shore up the defense, but goalkeeper Yassine Bounou deserves a special mention. The 29-year-old Moroccan pulled off a number of superb saves in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Huesca to collect his ninth league clean sheet of the season.
Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak is in a league of his own among La Liga goalkeepers, but Bounou has been clearly the best of the rest this season with a 78.5 save percentage.
Dortmund have drawn blanks just once in all competitions in 2020-21 and they have scored in 28 consecutive games, so Bounou will get another stern test here.
Der BVB has had a tough time throughout the season, but their recent form has been especially poor with only two wins in the past seven games.
Led by Haaland, the team has an outstanding scoring record, but last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Hoffenheim was the third straight game in which Dortmund conceded at least two goals. There have been 12 such outings during the season, which points to a lingering issue.
Interim head coach Edin Terzic had a great start at the helm with four wins in his first five games in charge including a very impressive 3-1 away victory at Leipzig, but it’s all fallen apart since then.
The Champions League offers a good distraction for Dortmund to forget about their league woes for a minute, but facing a red-hot side like Sevilla promises more trouble for the 1997 European champions who have won just once in 16 previous visits to Spain.
