Warriors Look to Tie Finals Against Celtics in Game 4

The Golden State Warriors will hope to bounce back from Wednesday’s Game 3 defeat and tie up the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics on Friday.

BovadaLogosStephen Curry is expected to play despite suffering a leg injury in Game 3 and he enters the contest in great form having averaged 31.3 points per game in the Finals so far. Bookmaker Bovada has his points line set at 29.5 for Game 4 with the odds for the over at -110 and for the under at -120.

※ Current Odds Date & Time: June 10th, 9:00 A.M. (EST)

Curry has been outstanding in the series shooting nearly 49 percent from deep but as the current situation shows, the two-time MVP needs better help.

The Warriors definitely need a lot more from Draymond Green. He’s the glue that holds the team together, but something has been off with the four-time All-Star and Golden State is struggling at both ends of the court because of it.

Green has shot a terrible 36.1 percent from the field ahead of Game 4 and he’s averaged only five points per game so far with very few defensive stats. His struggles are perfectly summed up by the fact that Green boasts three times as many fouls as made shots in the Finals.

This series could be over real quick if Green and the Warriors can’t get their act together. A loss on Friday would already put them in a very uncomfortable situation and they should be extremely motivated to tie the series. The 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers are the only side in NBA history to come back from a 3-1 series deficit in the Finals. Needless to say, the Warriors would have their backs definitely against the wall should this situation arise.

Meanwhile, things have clicked very well for the Celtics considering that Jayson Tatum has been mediocre at best so far in the Finals.

The 24-year-old superstar has enjoyed great form throughout the campaign, but his shooting has been off in the Finals and he’s averaging only 22 points per game. Tatum will definitely look to improve his efficiency for the rest of the series. If that happens, the Warriors will be in huge trouble.

Playing Game 4 at home holding a 2-1 is a major advantage for the Celtics and it could be a real blow for their chances in the series if they can’t put together a winning performance on Friday. There’s going to be a lot of pressure on both teams and it should lead to a fascinating game of basketball.
