The 2023 ATP season draws to a close this coming week, but it will do so in style. The best eight players in the world converge on Turin, Italy, where they’ll compete in an invitational event that sees an exciting round-robin style of play to determine who is the year-end champion this season.
Ahead of the ATP Finals 2023, all eyes are on Novak Djokovic. The Serbian requires one win to seal his eighth year-end No. 1 finish, extending his current record. A few more victories, and he’ll claim his seventh ATP Final title as well, breaking the existing tie with Roger Federer, who also won six titles. Can anyone stop Djokovic in Turin? Will we see more records tumble, or a dark horse emerge and spoil the party?
We break down all the latest odds from bookmaker bet365 to answer these questions and outline the best bets to make on the ATP Finals 2023 this coming week.

Unsurprisingly, Novak Djokovic leads the betting at bookmaker bet365, with odds of just 2.37 for the Serbian to claim his seventh ATP Finals title. Behind Djokovic is his biggest rival this year, Carlos Alcaraz, who returns a payout of 4.50 to win—almost double that of the current world No. 1. Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev are chances also with odds of 6.00 and 7.00 respectively, while the remaining four in the field aren’t given much of a shot, sitting on odds between 15.00 and 21.00.
Odds to win each group are reflective of these outright odds, with Djokovic and Alcaraz favoured to claim their respective groups at 1.57 and 2.25, followed by Sinner and Medvedev on 3.50 and 3.00.

We have two bets to recommend ahead of the ATP Finals in Turin next week. First the obvious, Djokovic is going to win. The argument is compelling—Djokovic has won his last 18 matches and is 31-1 since mid-May. He’s won the ATP Finals six times before and has been overt about his motivation to break records, of which there are two on the line in Italy. It’s hard to see the 36-year-old dropping the ball, so despite the return only being 2.37, it’s by far the best bet to take.
Should something go drastically wrong and Djokovic doesn’t perform as expected in Turin, then our second bet is at the opposite end of the spectrum. We say Alexander Zverev, the least favoured player at the bookies, actually has a great chance of winning the ATP Finals 2023.
After suffering a horrific injury 18 months ago, the German has finally returned to his peak, with 53 wins this season, including the scalps of Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev in recent months. He still has a chip on his shoulder and something to prove to the rest of the Tour post-injury, plus has won this event twice in the past five years. Combine this with his odds of 21.00 and suddenly Zverev winning is looking like a delicious wager.
