The NCAA basketball season has barely started and already we’ve seen some incredible upsets. These losses have shaken the top 25 in the AP polls and should make for an interesting story later in the season.
Tuesday night, two top 10 teams will go head-to-head as the #10 Kentucky Wildcats take on the #6 ranked Kansas Jayhawks. Kentucky opened the season with a victory before dropping their first game of the season. Meanwhile, Kansas opened their season with a loss before bouncing back.

Everyone is excited to see the battle between Kansas and Kentucky’s respective stars.Christian Braun (Kansas) averages nearly 19 points per game through two games and shoots the highest field goal percentage on the Jayhawks at .684%. Representing Kentucky is the likes of Brandon Boston. Boston is only shooting .441% from field goal range but manages to average 17.5 points. Boston is also second on the team in total rebounds per game and picks up a steal per contest as well.
The Jayhawks own one of the nastiest offensive cores in the nation. Currently scoring 92 points per game, the Kentucky defense will have their hands full with Bill Self’s group.
Kentucky is solid defensively, allowing just 60.5 points per game. With that being said, the Wildcats are looking to bounce back after a stunning upset loss to the Richmond Spiders. Against Richmond, Kentucky allowed 76 points en route to the loss.
It will be a battle of two powerhouses, but only one team will escape with victory. Will Kentucky bounce back or will Kansas continue to roll?
