The NBA Draft is months away, but that doesn’t mean bettors can’t speculate on who will be selected first overall.
It will be interesting to see which team earns the first overall selection. With the NBA suspended indefinitely thanks to COVID-19, the league was unable to finish off the regular season and crown a champion. As it stands, the Golden State Warriors own the worst record in the NBA, sitting in the basement of the league with a record of 15-50.

Online bookmaker BetOnline has Edwards at -125 to be the 1st Overall Pick.
The NFL proved that the draft is still possible. Whether it’s in person or online, the NBA Draft should still take place in June. So, if NBA commissioner Adam Silver introduces the newest crop of basketball players to the league, which player will be drafted first overall?
Georgia Guard Anthony Edwards has the best odds to be selected first overall. Edwards spent a season with the Georgia Bulldogs, averaging 19.1 points-per-game. He started all 32 games for Georgia, finishing the regular season with a record of 16-16.
Next on the board is James Wiseman. Wiseman was deemed ineligible by the NCAA and basically missed out on his entire Freshman season. Wiseman would serve part of the suspension before withdrawing from school.
LaMelo Ball is certainly one of the most talked-about prospects on the draft board. Ball officially declared for the NBA draft and had everyone talking. He won the NBL (Australia) Rookie of the Year and is arguably the best athlete from the family. His brother Lonzo went #2 to the Lakers and LiAngelo went undrafted.
Is Edwards destined to be first-overall or will another name be called at the NBA draft?
