LIV Golf Orlando | Last Chance for Momentum Ahead of Rare Masters Cross Over

When LIV Golf began its attempt to form a breakaway tour competing with the PGA Tour, it completely transformed the golf landscape. The PGA Tour banned players who signed on with LIV from participating in PGA Tour events, effectively creating a chasm that meant some of golf’s best players would no longer meet. One exception exists, however, with LIV players able to compete in the three US major events—one of which is right around the corner.

This weekend’s LIV Golf event in Orlando presents one final opportunity for big names such as Dustin Johnson, Cam Smith and Joaquin Niemann to fine tune their games ahead of next week’s big clash. Who will grab the bull by the horns and gain some much needed confidence heading into the Masters, and who will come out of the woodwork as a surprise package in Orlando?

ウィリアムヒルWe break down all the best bets to be made on LIV Golf Orlando with the latest odds from bookmaker William Hill.

Current Odds Date & Time: March 30th, 9:00 P.M. (GMT)

Bookmaker William Hill has the outright winner odds as neck and neck ahead of the first tee off in Orlando. Dustin Johnson holds a narrow lead with odds of 12.00, but both Cameron Smith and Joaquin Niemann are nipping at his heels on 13.00. These are the big three favourites with Mite Pereira and Paul Casey further off the pace on 15.00 to round out the top five betting favourites at LIV Golf Orlando.

Both Cameron Smith and Dustin Johnson come into LIV Golf Orlando win-less in 2023 but have won in Florida in recent years. They’ll be eager to gain some momentum heading into the Masters, considering neither has been playing their best golf this year or much competitive golf at all. With Smith playing well in the wind, that could be a factor in Orlando, and he would be the strongest bet as an outright winner. Back the Australian to claim his first win of the year just in time for the Masters at odds of 13.00.

Picking a winner here is tough, however, and punters might be better off hedging their bets by wagering on top five finishes instead. Smith pays 3.25 for a top five finish, while Johnson is on 3.20. Backing both of them here could well still produce a healthy return and feels like a strong punt given the depth of the field and what’s at stake in Orlando.
