This is a big test of character for the Spurs players, as they only recently lost a big away game against Arsenal and there’s been very little joy against United throughout the years. Tottenham have lost more Premier League games against the Red Devils than they have against any other opponent (38) and they have managed just 10 wins in 60 meetings.

The ten Hag era had a miserable start, but United’s run of results includes victories against Arsenal and Liverpool. Another triumph against a big side would be a strong sign of things moving in the right direction.
Tottenham will want to prove their credentials as well after dropping the Arsenal game and showing some signs of weakness in the Champions League. There have been a few setbacks for Antonio Conte’s men, but the team still boasts a strong record for the season with nine wins, three draws and two defeats, and they should be confident in their ability to outperform United on Wednesday.
